Ingredients: 3 Large Pieces of Gluten
A Few Pieces of Dried Black Mushroom
1/2 Piece of Bean Curd
5 Fresh Button Mushroom
8 Grams of Dang Gui (Angelica Sinensis*)
Seasonings: 1 Bowl of Vegetarian Cooking Oil
1 Small Teaspoon of MSG
1 Teaspoon of Salt
A Few Drops of Cooking Wine (optional)
Procedure:
  • Cut Gluten into smaller pieces and soak mushrooms till softened.
  • Heat up oil in a wok, put Gluten in wok to fry until golden brown. Put Gluten on a plate.
  • Same wok with a teaspoonful of oil remains, stir fry.
  • Pour 12 bowls of water into a soup pot, bring to boil.
  • Put the rest of the ingredients into boiling water.
  • Lower heat, cook for 20 minutes.
  • Sprinkle few drops of wine. (optional)
  • Ready to serve.
    *Angelica Sinensis (Dang Gui) is a Chinese herb commonly used as a blood generating tonic.
